Chimpanzee and Campun Naga Visits in English

On February 27th, I went on a tour of volcano sightseeing and bullfighting show in Chimpanzee. The tour was simply riding on the back of a motorcycle to get around.

We started at 8 am and first went to the crater of Mount Papandayan. They said the crater was amazing, but it wasn’t as impressive as the Owakudani Valley in Hakone. I walked around the deserted mountain alone for about 30 minutes and then descended.

Next, we headed to the bullfighting show. I thought it would be a perfect event to attend since it was only held on Sundays. However, our guide couldn’t find the location and we ended up going to two different places where the event wasn’t being held. Finally, on the third attempt, we found the actual venue. It took us about 2 hours of searching to find it.

During the tour, we stopped by the guide’s house on our way back from the volcano sightseeing. He mentioned that there was a pig fighting show happening in the backyard, but unfortunately, we couldn’t see it as it was scheduled for the afternoon. I was curious because I had never heard of pigs fighting before.
