Do Syrian hamster love climbing toys?
You may have to watch your Syrian hamster to see what kinds of things they appear to like and dislike. If your hamster does not use the best toys for Syrian Hamster that you give them, then you should consider to provide climbing toys for them.
#1 Do hamsters climb?
Yes, they are endlessly curious and climb everything as long as they got something to hold onto. Not only that, they are exceptionally good climbers. Hamster are so incredibly curious, although they are poor vision, hamster will see and smell and hear to feel everything, and will move towards you as often as they can.
They have fully energy, even with a running wheel in their cage, baby hamsters will still be clinging to the ceiling.
#2 Best climbing toys
If you do not give your hamster the climbing toys, so it is possible that they will climb on to the cage bars, it can sometimes lead to chewing the cage bars. Not only is that annoying, it’s also not safe for his teeth at all.

Bird toys also make good climbing toys for hamsters, as long as they’re the ladder/climbing types. Another kind of toy a climbing hamster might like is just the ladder. With the ladder, you can mount it to connect 2 side of the cage, or even as a hanging rope.
However, remember that hamsters will jump from heights, since they can’t judge distances very well. I would like to recommend hanging this toy not very high off the cage floor.
#3 Home-made climbing toy
You also can home made climbing toy for your hamster. Take a few walnut halves and a long piece of twine, maybe a few pieces of wood, and put a hole in each of those. Feed the twine through all those holes, making a know after each new piece.
By this way, you can get the toys that walnut halves pieces of wood, all on a long piece of twine. And then tie this twine to on the 2 sides of the cage.
